Group Prospecting At Lamplough

GREYMOUTH, June 11.

Headed by an old-time prospector of Kumara Junction, Mr p. H. Honey, a small group of West Coasters is searching for a lost gold lead at Lamplough, two miles east of Awatuiia.

This lead is said to have produced £2 million worth of recorded gold, but its total ouput may have exceeded that amount, “This is the lead which brought people here from all over the world. I’ve been looking for it for years,” said Mr Honey. The group had-’ spent about £l2OO on the venture so far, he said. . z
