Twohill Memorial At Thames
“The Press'' Special Service AUCKLAND, June 12. Jet Brigade, which has had two wins and two seconds in his last six starts, looks favourably placed to win again in the James Twohill Memorial Handicap at the Thames Trotting Club’s meeting at Parawai tomorrow. Jet Brigade, a member of the team trained by H. Purdon. sen., at Pukekohe. finished sixth at Cambridge last week.
The track tomorrow is expected to be easy, but it is unlikely it will be as heavy as at Cambridge. This will enhance Jet Brigade’s prospects. Stormy Belwin and Langside are others with bright prospects The forecast is for fine weather and the track will be heavy.
