LICENCES which expire on June 30, 1959, may now be renewed at the County Offices, Sockburn. Licences are available for any number of years up to five, fexcept to drivers required to produce medical certificates who may renew for one year only. The licence fee is five shillings per year plus one shilling if a licence cover is required. RENEWAL BY MAIL. With the exception of renewals Which require a medical certificate or a driving test, licences previously issued by the Paparua County Council mav be renewed by mail, provided the following are forwarded to the County Offices. County Clerk. 2447 SELWYN COUNTY COUNCIL RENEWAL OF MOTOR DRIVERS’ LICENSES Drivers’ Licenses which expire on June 30. 1959, may now be renewed at the County Office, Hororata. IMPORTANT: All persons holding a driving license are requested to examine it, to ensure that such license will be current after June 30, 1959. Holders of licenses previously issued by Selwyn County Council may renew same by post, provided the current license is enclosed, together with the prescribed fee of 5s for each year of renewal and a stamped addressed envelope for return. Licenses may be renewed for any number of years up to five. Personal application must be made by drivers required to produce a medical certificate or holding licenses issued by any other Local Authority. Only Medical Certificates issued by Doctors J. W. Avery and D. W. Eason, of Darfield, E. Candy of Rakaia, W. G. Voickman of Leeston, and J. M. Louisson of Christchurch, will be accepted for the issue of licenses.
