Man Injured In Saw Accident

While cutting wood over a saw bench at Allenton on Sunday, Mr Hugh Lionel Ryan, of 11 Kerr street, Ashburton, received serious internal injuries when a splinter of wood flew off the saw and penetrated his liver and stomach He was taken to the Ashburton Public Hospital, where he was on the seriously ill list yesterday.
