REPORT ON WORKSHOPS
Epilepsy Delegate’s View “I feel that I may have been misunderstood at the annual meeting of the Canterbury Sheltered Workshop Association.” the Epilepsy Association representative at the meeting (Mr A. Lexington Jones) told “The Press” last evening. A report in “The Press” yesterday said that Mr Jones had urged the association to delay the establishment of the proposed new workshop until greater experience of the needs ,of the various allied organisations was gained. Last evening Mr Jones said he had said that his organisation had decided to delay building its sheltered workshop until advice had been received from overseas on the best course to take. “I don’t want anyone to think that Epilepsy Association representatives went tnere with the idea of dictating policy,” said Mr Jones.
