No-One Hurt When Cars Collide

No-one was injured when two cars were involved in a spectacu lar collision at the corner of Hereford street and Oxford terrace about 7.40 p.m. yesterday An old-model car came to rest wedged between a lamp post and the Victoria Insurance Company building. The windscreen was shattered and the front of the car damaged. The other vehicle involved, a large American car, travelled 40 yards east along Hereford street before mounting the footpath and knocking down a parking meter. The car stopped when it struck the entrance of a building. Slight damage was done to another car parked nearby.
