Rider Suspended For Fortnight
(New Zealand Press Association) PALMERSTON NORTH. May 17. A charge was laid against L. K. Tinsley, ri<er of Monarch, alleging interference with Llanos (R. G. Howell) and Anchor (W. L. Aitken) in the Maiden Stakes at Foxton on Saturday. The committee found that Tinsley, had been guilty of careless or in- 1 comnetent riding which affected the result of the race, and suspended him from riding from 5 p.m. on May 16 to 5 p.m. on May 30. The committee decided al>o that Monarch, which finished first, had interfered with the chances of Anchor, which finished second, and Llanos, which finished third. Anchor was placed first. Llanos second, and Monarch third.
