Mintoff’s Request Refused
VALLETTA (Malta), May 13. Britain had rejected the request of the Maltese <Labour Party leader (Mr Dom Mintoff) that the “Malta question” should be raised at the Foreign Ministers’ conference, at Geneva, a Government House spokesman said today.
Britain told Mr Mintoff. who is a former Prime Minister of Malta, that it was not appropriate to discuss the island’s future at Geneva.
