The United Kingdom Minister of Agriculture (Mr John Hare) has accepted an invitation from the Government to visit New Zealand later this year.— (P.A.) Mr H. H. Hawkins, of North Canterbury, yesterday was elected president of the New Zealand Educational Institute. Mr F. Dyer, of Hutt Valley, was elected junior vice-president.— (P.A.)
