LINCOLN HIGH SCHOOL
Provision For New Block Provision has been made in the 1959-60 draft building programme of the Education Department for a six-classroom block, assembly hall and administrative offices for the Lincoln High School, according to notice received by the committee of control of the Lincoln High School. Approval has also been given for the construction of two more basketball courts and a hard court area of 100 ft by 60ft for physical education. Grants have been approved for the purchase of a piano, and £2OO for library equipment. The old district high school committee had met to discuss the distribution of its assets, it was reported at a meeting of the committee of control, and it was decided to divide equipment available between the primary and high schools and make grants to the libraries of both schools. A fund of £4OO was set aside for the provision of amenities for the future assembly hall. The Lincoln Marching Club had given £34 for the establishment of a sports prize, it was announced.
