No Imported Patterns. — The Minister of Industries and Commerce (Mr Holloway), has refused to allow an Auckland dress patterns company to import printed patterns from England. The manager of the firm, Mr A. V. Martin, received a reply on Friday to letters he wrote in October and February. Mr Holloway said that to allow such imports would reduce the New Zealand content of the patterns. — (P.A.)
