Feud In Samoa
As a result of a brawl at a Rugby match between the Apia and Hospital teams two weeks ogo, a feud has developed between girls of the Apia village and Samoan hospital nurses. There has been a series of fights and police are constantly called to intervene. Girls of the village, which is on the route of the hospital nurses’ walk to town, lie in wait to ambush them. A fight today resulted in two girls being taken to hospital, one with a badly torn ear after being struck by an umbrella.—Apia, April 15,
