(New Zealand Press Association) AUCKLAND, April 14.

A sentence of 18 months’ imprisonment was imposed on Sydney David Buster White, aged 24, a labourer, by Mr F. McCarthy. S.M., in the Magistrate’s Court at Auckland today on charges of car conversion, resisting and assaulting a police constable, ahd causing wilful damage. At White’s earlier appearance the Court was told he violently resisted arrest when a police patrol found him in a converted car. »
