Butter Steady In U.K.—The New Zealand Dairy Products Marketing Commission reports that the market in the United Kingdom opened on Monday with New Zealand butter unchanged at 290 s per cwt. ex store, and New Zealand finest white cheese unchanged at 291 s per cwt. Australian first grade white Cheddar dropped 5s to 280 s per cwt ex store, but United Kingdom Cheddar and Cheshire, like New Zealand. Cheddar, remained unchanged.—P.A.
