Toheroa Soup For Menzies

(N.Z. Press Association—Copyright) (Rec. 7.30 p.m.) BRISBANE. April 13. The New Zealand trade mission now in Queensland has sent 24 tins of New Zealand shellfish to the Australian Prime Minister (Mr Menzies).

The gift is* to help emphasise the imbalance of trade with Australia.

A telegram from the mission leader. Mr WooTf Fisher, of Auckland, to Mr Menzies referred to the Prime Minister’s comment to members that he would like nothing better than six tins of toheroa soup. Mr Fisher wired: “Members of mission send their respects and 24 tins of toheroa. Balance is again 4 to 1 in your favour*
