Royal New Zealand Air Force and a member of the Air Board. He recently returned from Ahe United Kingdom where he was air officer commanding R.N.Z.A.F. headquarters, London. He is to take up his new post immediately Announcing the appointment the Minister of Defence (Mr Connolly) said Air Commodore Cohen had a thorough knowledge of the Air Force’s current Canberra re-equipment programme. In London be had been closely in touch with the Royal Air Force and the makers of the Canberra on masy aspects-of purchase and delivery of the’bombers and the training in the United Kingdom of air and ground crew. Air Commodore Cohen joined the R.A.F. in 1929. He returned to New Zealand in 1935 to the R.N.Z.A.F. He was posted to London on his last appointment in 1955.
