Australian Junior Hard-Court Titles

(N.Z. Press Association —Copyright) MELBOURNE, April 10. Australia’s most promising young woman tennis player, Jan Lehane, continued hei run of successes by winning the national junior hardcourt singles championship this afternoon.

Miss Lehane, who has not been beaten in a junior singles match for two years, dropped only two games in defeating another New South Wales girl, Lesley Turner, in the final. She won 6-0, 6-2. Ken Fletcher, of Queensland, won the junior hard-court title when he beat Martin Mulligan, of New South Wales, 6-4, 3-6, 6-2. Both boys will I leave for overseas soon as members of the Australian Davis Cup team.
