U.S. FELLOWSHIP IN GEOGRAPHY

(New Zeaiana Press Association) AUCKLAND, April 12.

An Auckland geographer, Mr W. Armstrong, has been awarded a fellowship to study geography for nine months at the University of Illinois. He will take up the fellowship in August Mr Armstrong graduated master of arts in geography last year at the University of Auckland and is now a junior lecturer in geography at the university. Before he leaves, Mr Armstrong will marry Miss Jocelyn Dorrington, of Thames, who is a librarian at the Alexander Turnbull Library, Wellington. She will accompany him to America.
