(New Zealand Press Association) AUCKLAND, April 9. A rapid expansion in reciprocal trade between New Zealand and the Republic of China is sought by a six-man delegation that arrived in’ Auckland from Sydney yesterday. The delegation is the first of its kind from Formosa to visit New Zealand.
“We want to buy your wool, dairy cattle, and chemical pulp.” said the leader (Mr T. K. Chang). “But we want to sell you just as much in return.’’ Members of the delegation represent leading Formosan commercial and manufacturing interests.
They have just completed a visit to Australia, where they met members of the New Zealand trade mission which flew to Canberra on Monday.
