Women “Stronger Sex” Says Pope

Pope John said today thal women are "the strong sex before God,” because when othen tire "they continue to pray.”
He made this comment to about 30.000 tourists and pilgrims from al) parts of the world whom he received in audience in St Peter’s Basilica. "Among those present,” said the 77-year-old Pope, "there are many representatives of the so-called weaker sex.
"But do not say that too loudly because otherwise they will hear that and may get angry. “Actually,” he continued, "they are the strong sex before God because when others tire they continue to pray.”
