Johnny Hanks Beaten By lan Mitchell
(New ■ Zealand Press Association) WELLINGTON, March 9. The come-back of the former national feather and light-weight champion, Johnny Hanks, of Auckland, was ended tonight by the young Hutt Valley lightweight, lan MitchelL At the opening of the seventh round Hanks took a right flush on the side of the head. He staggered to his feet at the full count, but was in no condition to go on.
