Grahamland Bases. The British supply ship John Briscoe, assisted by the American icebreaker Northwind, has evacuated Base E on the Grahamland Peninsula of Antarctica, according to information received by the United States Navy in Christchurch. The two ships have resupplied Base Y and are on their way to Base W. It is thought that men who have left Base E are*on their way to Base Y by sledge.
