Vehicles Spreading Bulk Fertiliser

(New Zealand Press Association) HAMILTON, March 9. Representations are to be made before the Cabinet this week in the hope of solving what has been termed an ’’anomalous situation”—the lack of a petrol rebate for bulk fertiliser-spread-ing vehicles. Announcing this the president of the New Zealand Bulk Fertilisers’ Association (Mr J. D. Wright, of Hamilton) said that discussions had already, been held with the Minister of Works (Mr Watt) and the Minister of Transport (Mr Mathison).
