The main purpose of the is to study the methods adopted to increase the popularity of racing as a spectator sport and to obtain information about facilities provided for the public and owners. Dr. Grant and Mr Mackie will attend race meetings at major tracks, such as Santa Anita and Hollywood Park, in California, and in Kentucky and New York.
