CANTERBURY ROLLER FLOUR
The accounts of the Canterbury Roller Flour Mills Company, Ltd., for the year ended December 31, 1958, show a net profit of £lOl6 compared with £1471 for the previous year. This profit was reached after providing £351 (£l3O previously) for tax and £1773 (£1332) for depreciation. An unchanged dividend of 5 per cent, will require £1250, leaving £2611 (£2845) to cany forward. Paid capital remains at £25,000 In ordinary shares and reserves are £2611 (£2845). The directors say that the industry is in an unsatisfactory state because of price control but every effort is being made to effect an improvement.
