Wins For West And Boys’ High Schools

Christchurch Boys’ High School and Christchurch West High School were the winners of the Str John Hall Shield and the Monies *niaekor Shield respectively, when ths intersecondary school life-saving compotitions were held at the Centennial Pool last evening. There wore seven teams entered in the boys’ event and six in the girls*. Results:— Sir John Hall Shield: Christchurch Boys’ High School A (B. Marshall, J. Dudman, R. Jansen. G. Cox. P. Plimmer (instructor). 458.35 points; Rangiora High School. 423.2; Christchurch Boys’ High School B, 402.25. Monica Thacker Shield: Christchurch West High School (M. Farmer. M. Shadbolt. M. Henderson. B. Hancox. A. Dawson (instructor). 388.5 points; Rang!ora High School, 386.25; Methven District High School. 388 J 5.
