Next month the Victory jfemorial School, formerly known „ the St. Matthew’s Church Day School, will celebrate its seventyjfflj anniversary with celebrations jsstine over four days. Twenty-eight former members of the staff have been found, and pupils have been found in Australia, Scotland, England, Canada, Jamaica, Singapore, and Borneo. However, the committee at preaeat has a list of more than 600 names of former girls and boys—secured from school records and by personal contact and advice—whom they have been unable to find, especially girls who have married. Arrangements for the celebrations were begun in November, 1957, when the present school board set up a sub-committee to make preliminary arrangements.
