SCOUT SOAP BOX DERBY

Good Field For 1959 Race Thirteen sleek racing cars, their smart paintwork providing a gay splash of colour, will be lined up on the starting grid at English Park on April 4, for the 1959 Boy Scout Soap Box Derby. Unfortunately because of jamboree activties there are not as many cars entered as last year but some close racing is expected. The events will begin at 10 a.m. and will continue until the afternoon. Attempts on the . track record and a relay race will be some of the highlights of the meeting. There will also be events for cubs, scouts, seniors, cub v. scout and a mechanics’ race.
