STOCK DIAGNOSTIC STATION
Inquiry On Otago Claim ■
(New Zealand Press Association) DUNEDIN, March 3. An undertaking to make a thorough, on-the-spot examinetion of Otago’s claims to have an animal diagnostic station at Taleri has been given to Mr W. A. Hudson, M.P, for Mornington, by the Minister of Agriculture (Mr Skinner). Mr Hudson made this announcement today at the second annual Invermay Research Station farmers’ conference at Mosgiel. He was apologising for Mr Skinner’s absence due to the pressure of work. “The Government has all the facts and will make a decision,’’ said the Director-General of Agriculture (Mr P. W. Smallflald), who Is attending the conference on Mr Skinner’s behalf. “I have no Idea when,” he added.
