Small Poll On Saturday
The provisional results of the Hornby Licensing Trust election on Saturday may not be conclusive. With seven candidates for six seats, only three votes separate the last two.
Only 12 per cent, of those eligible voted. The official result should be known by mid-day today. Provisional results are:— John Newton Mcßride 172, Edward Reginald Walker- 163, Ronald Symes 161, Harry Winfield Bennet 151, Sydney Ernest Slatter 146, Robert John, Roberts 128, Gordon Hula Clarkson 125.
