Ten records were broken—two In successive races by w. R. Williameon—at the St Andrew’s Colle*. swimming sports. Williamson set new marks for both the senior and intermediate 1* 1-a yards backstroke events. The senior championship was won by D. G. Spence, with 1* points, and the runner-up was B. H. Stanton (S>. N. G. Duggan was the winner of the intermediate section with 12 e? 1 ? 1 *- »nd W B. Williamson and «. D. Moore were equal second with six points each. The promising Canterbury junior swimmer, Derek Staples, won the junior championship with 11 points. Results were:—
