Francis John Patrick McMahon, aged 46, a carpenter, of Hamilton.

Mrs Violet Davies, who was sitting in the front seat with her husband, Mr W. H. Davies, of Hamilton,' suffered a severe cut on the head. Mr Davies and the driver of the other car, Mr Robin McL. Neville, of Hamilton, were uninjured.
