Five Hurt When Car Overturns
(New Zealand Press Association) WELLINGTON, Feb. 27.
Five men were injured when a rental car overturned on Haywards hill, outside Wellington, late tonight. They are: R. Nichols, market gardener, Moana street, Otaki, lacerations to scalp, abrasions, concussion, shock; N. Winterburn, joiner, Convent road, Otaki, lacerations to scalp, abrasions to hands, concussion, shock; D. Ludlam, apprentice plumber, Otaki Railway, severe lacerations left leg, shock; J. Co'otes, Marie street, Otaki, suspected fractured right ankle, shock, and R. Edwards, labourer, Main road, Otaki, suspected back injury, lacerations to scalp, shock. The car was travelling towards Hutt Valley when it got out of control and somersaulted four times.
