N.Z. BVTTER AND CHEESE Prices Steady In London tNew Zeuiana Press Assoctatton) WELLINGTON, February 17. New Zealand butter remained at an ex store price of 290 s per cwt in London when trading began on Monday, reports the Dairy Products Marketing Commission. Argentine butter bought for February shipment dropped by 15s per cwt to a landed United Kingdom price equivalent to 2655, and Australian and Hungarian dropped Is to 280 s. These falls, together with those that occurred last week have made buyers cautious and trade over the market generally has lately been alow. The active demand for New Zealand finest white Cheddar remained on Monday at 291 s per ewt ex atere.
