RAW MILK SUPPLY
The only licensed raw milk supply in the Christchurch area has been proved clear by milk ring test of infection from the brucella abortus organism. “We would be happy to see the ■ay when the whole of the area is free from tuberculosis and brucella abortion.” said the chairman (Mr R G. Brown) when the report was received, with remarks of pleasure, at yesterday’s meeting of the Christchurch Metropolitan Milk Board. The firm of Munnings Bros, was the only one licensed to supply raw milk and it was doing a grand job, said Mr Brown. “If Munning Bros, can do it, so can other producers,” said Mr Brown.
