ROLLER HOCKEY TOURNAMENT

North Island Beats South, 7-1 (New Zealana Press Association) NAPIER, January 23. The North Island beat the South by seven goals to one at the national roller hockey championships of the Amateur Roller Skating Association of New Zealand in Napier this evening. Napier continued to lead the field in the individual championships. Games this evening resulted:— Picton 2, Levin 2; Gisborne 1. Petone 1; Palmerston North junior 5 Napier junior 1. John Benton, of Levin, fractured three bones in his left foot in the game betwean Palmerston North and Levin yesterday, but the injury was not discovered until today.
