Struck By Car When Crossing Road

(New Zeatana Press Association) DUNEDIN, January 22. A \ oman was killed and her sister was fatally injured last night when they were struck by a car in Caversham Valley road. The women are: Mrs Marion Hunter, aged 56. of Mount Cargill. Mrs June Niven Wood, aged 66. of 15 Peter street, Dunedin. The accident occurred about 945 p.m. The two women apparently stepped off the footpath to cross Caversham Valley road just below the corner, which is bordered by a stone wall, and were struck by a car being driven towards the city. » Mrs Wood died this morning. The driver of the car was D. K. Craig, of 3 Regent road.
