The Christchurch Technical College Amateur Athletic Club continued its club championships st Ensors road on Wednesday evening The strong wind made for slow times, and dose finishes were the order of the day. Taylor, broke the New Zealand junior M 0 yards record and equalled the national junior 100 yards time under floodlights at the Basin Reserve, Wellington, last night.; Taylor also figured in a record-breaking M 0 yards junior relay run, In which the Wellington A team beat the touring Fijians, but could not Claim , nsUonal record The Wellington relay team—Taylor. J. D. Hardy. R. Nalah. and R. R. Thompson—sprinted and changed meticulously for a 43.Hsec run over M 0 yards, which beat the national record bv .3*ec. A new national mark could not be claimed because they were juniors competing in a senior event.
