CHAIN STORE’S EXPANSION
New Ricearton Premises
A new two-storey building for the Ricearton branch of Woolworths (N.Z.) Ltd. scheduled to be 'opened about February or March, will have one of the big-
gest shop-floor areas in Riccarton. At present only a small portion of the front part of the shop is being used while the new building is being completed around it. The newly-completed shop area will be about three times as large again. Built in reinforced concrete, the new portion was begun about a year ago. Large steel folding doors give access to a loading ana storage bay at the rear of the store and a service lift has been installed for conveying goods and stock to the store rooms upstairs.
