TV Tower Foil. On Station

A 600 ft television towe?'toZ>ted on to a television station at Lexington, Kentucky, yesterday killing a receptionist, and injuring two other persons. Mr Fred Gregg, owner of a radio station in Lexington, said the huge steel tower almost cut the building in half. “The tower whipped around in the wind and then fell directly across the centre of the station.” Mr Gregg said. Reports said a smaller tower fell first,, cutting stays to the taller, tower. The manager of the television station estimated damage to be nearly 4MMO dollars (about £ 175JXXD.
