Asian And Island Students
Sir,—Over the years students arriving from South-east Asian countries and the Pacific Islands, have had difficulties In finding suitable accommodation. This year the club has embarked on the difficult scheme of finding suitable accommodation, in private homes preferably, in advance. To do this I find myself at bay without your assistance. I should be very grateful indeed if you would make this appeal to the general public. Should there be people willing to take overseas students in their homes. I should be very pleased to contact them. Inquiries may be made in writing to me.—Yours, etc., S. MOHAMMED, President, International Club. 18 Hereford street, Christchurch. January 21, 1959.
