FATAL FALL FROM HOTEL

(New Zealana Press Association) WELLINGTON, January 15. The man who fell from the Pier Hotel, Grey street, Wellingtop, shortly before 11 o’clock last night, died in the Wellington Public Hospital this morning. He was:

Anthony George Wen ham, aged 26, who was employed as a seaman on the Tasman passenger liner Monowai. His next-of-kin is his father, Mr H. P. Wenham, of Church street, Masterton. Mr Wenham suffered a fractured gkull, fractured right thigh, and severe shock. It is believed that he was climbing up the fire escape of the hotel when he lost his footing and fell about 20ft to the pavement. The manager of the hotel said tonight that Mr Wenham was not known at the hotel.
