Now that these famous cars have disappeared from the world’s circuits, motor racing appears to be facing a difficult period. Britain can gain some consolation from the fact that Aston Martin is developing a Formula I grand prix car, so that together with B.R.M. and Cooper, the outlook is not too discouraging.
