The New Zealand cross-country champion and 15-mile record holder, K. E. Williams, led a realistic display of battle physical training given by an Arrtiy unit during the Army pageant at Caroline Bay, Timaru, last evening, organised as part of South Canterbury’s Centennial celebrations. So realistic and vigorous were the exercises, performed in conventional Army boots, that a member of the ceremonial guard fainted.
