DOCTOR’S BAG STOLEN

Dangerous Drugs Missing

A brown leather bag, containing a full set of medical instruments and a quantity of dangerous drugs, was stolen from a doctor’s car parked outside the United Tennis Club in Hagley Park yesterday afternoon. The theft occurred between 3.5 p.m. and 3.25 p.m. The doctor immediately reported the theft to the Christchurch C.LB. as the drugs would be extremely dangerous in unskilled hands, or if children obtained them.

For this reason, the police are very anxious that the bag, which bears the initials R.H.Q.-8., should be handed into the police station.

The C. 1.8. also received information that another theft took place from a car also parked near the tennis club yesterday afternoon.
