Skin-divers “Blackmarket,”— The “Miami Herald” says a new black market has arisen in Florida. Skin divers, the newspaper reports, are secretly salvaging gold from underwater wrecks off the shores of Florida and the Bahamas and selling their finds at cut prices. The newspaper quoted an unnamed professional diver as saying that the object was to avoid trouble over salvage rights and tax difficulties.—Miami, Florida (Reuter).
