Nurses’ Bureau Closed

Because there are no nurses now available to take private cases, the bureau conducted by the Canterbury branch of the New Zealand Registered Nurses’ Association has been closed till further notice. The bureau has served the public and the nursing profession for 11 years by taking requests for private nursing cases and directing registered nurses to them. It was opened when the Private Nurses’ Club was closed because of lack of support. The future of the bureau will be discussed at a meeting of the branch next month.
