U.S. Lemons To Be Imported

(New Zealand Press Association) AUCKLAND, January 12. Government approval for the importation of Californian lemons has been obtained by Fruit Distributors, Ltd., because of the shortage of local supplies. Mr Ross C. Walker, general manager of the company, said in Auckland today that 5000 cartons of Californian lemons, each of about 381 b, were being shipped to Auckland in the Monterey. Also coming by the Monterey was a shipment of 5000 cartons of Californian oranges.
