GOD CHRISTADELPHIAN ADDRESS BIBLE HALL, Madras si. (near Tuam) SUNDAY, 7 P.M. (God willing) Subject: “HOW SHALL WE ESCAPE?” “HOW SHALL WE ESCAPE?” Heb. 2: 3 The Apostle to the Hebrews testifies that it is needful to give more earnest heed to the things heard, i.e, things concerning God and His Son, Jesus Christ.
The lesson is that the Hebrews (Jews) of old time who disobeyed the word spoken by angels received the just recompense of reward. '
So then the sober question is presented, “How shaU we escape if we neglect so great salvation?” — That glorious message taught by Jesus concerning the Gospel of the Kingdom of God and the things concerning Himself? Heb. 2: 1-4.
-The host of witnesses who testified to the resurrection of Christ, and the Apostles who preached the same Glad Tidings have by the inspiration of God revealed the Way to that Kingdom and the glory in store for those who love and obey the commandments of a great and merciful Father.
It is not possible to do despite to the Word of God and escape the punishment of the unfaithful and disobedient.
Paul argues: “Be not deceived, evil communications corrupt good manners” (fulfilling the desire to obey God). “Whatsoever a man sows that shall he also reap. He that sows to the flesh shall reap corruption: but he that sows to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.” Gal. 6: 6-8.
Thus escape from punishment and death is in God’s mercy to obey Him. Free Literature may be obtained from Box 1650 on most Birble subjects. 2408 DEHTISTKY P. Z. HARRIS, B.D.S, P. Z.
