Assault Charge*—lan John Brand, a workman, aged 22, was remanded to January 5, on a charge of assaulting Lawrence Bernard Wootton and Peter Robert Hillier Green on December 29, when he appeared in the Magistrate’s Court on Tuesday. Brand was granted bail of £5O, with one surety of £5O. by Messrs C. J. G. Goode and H. A. Harrow. Justices of the Peace, and was ordered to report to the police daily.
